Honoring Our Heritage
This year’s Grand Marshal is Pam Depuy, the 7th great-granddaughter of Nicholas Depuy, who became the first European settler at Shawnee-on-the-Delaware in 1727. Pam represents the Depuy/Brodhead Family Association, an organization that reunites annually at the Monroe County Historical Association. The association includes descendants of East Stroudsburg settler Daniel Brodhead and Nicholas Depuy. Furthermore, Pam is descended from Lt. Moses Depuy, a brave soldier who fought in the Revolutionary War.
Don't miss this incredible display of community spirit, history, and patriotism. See you at the parade!
