We are building Poconos.Best The definitive, independent guide to the Pocono Mountains.

We are handing the keys to our platform and database over to our neighbors—completely for free. We’re not here to advertise Starbucks, Target, or Walmart. Let corporate America fund their own billboards.

We are here for:

• The local artists
• The people who make this region pulse.

To do this right, we need the real locals. We are opening applications for two specific roles:

📸 The Listers (Directory Scouts) We want the definitive local database. That means no stock photos and no recycled Yelp garbage.

• The Mission: We need people with an eye for original photography who can hunt down and verify the best local spots.
• The Rule: Everything must be 100% strictly located in the Poconos.

✍️ The Writers (The Local Voices) We want stories from all walks of life happening in the mountains. We are looking for the soul, the art, the grit, and the life of this place.

• The Catch: We don't just want "ideas." We want people dedicated to actually putting words on the screen and building a living culture.
